We have heard many stories this year from the Bible and recently
focused on the teachings of Jesus and stories that he told.
The children enjoy games, activities and crafts weekly with
friends.
The children helped to make a poster about Communion to display in the
Sanctuary when we were talking about the Last Supper.
More recently the children have been talking about Mary and Martha. They have also been writing invitations for "Bring a Friend to Church." Below you will see some pictures of things produced during their activities.

A more recent project of the Sunday School is the raising of money for a scholarship fund to sponsor a child to attend the Raltam Christian Mission School, in Raltam, M.P., India. To date about $160 has been raised. The cost for one year's education is $300 (including room and board, tuition, and school materials) and is awarded to a child from a family with an income less than $40/month. A little girl from a village (Sisera Village) in the area has been selected and she is looking forward to starting school at the beginning of the next school year which is at the start of July, 2012. The area around Ratlam is semi-desert and the hot season of late April to the end of June is when the school break takes place. If you would like to contribute to this fund, you can put your free-will donation in the Teddy Bear jar, at the front of the church sanctuary, before or after Sunday service.
