Join us at Fort Massey Church on Thursday mornings from 10:30 to 11:45am  in the Study as we discuss issues facing contemporary Christianity through the examination of books which challenge us spiritually.

The group will be meeting on Thursday mornings at The Berkeley on Green Street for study and conversation with Rev'd Trent as they explore aspects of their faith.

Beginning on March 1, 2012 we will be starting a "Lenten Pilgrimage" by exploring the faith traditions of some of our neighbours — Muslims, Sikhs, an Hindus.   This series will be led by Mr.  Ian MacDonald, a retired teacher of Comparative World Religions.  On March 1 we will be have an introduction to the beliefs and teachings of Islam.  This will be followed by a visit to the new mosque on St. Mathias Street on March 8.  On March 15 we will have a similar introduction to the beliefs and teachings of Sikhism, followed by a visit to the Sikh Temple (Gurdwara) on March 22.  On March 29 we will be studying about Hinduism.  A visit to the Hindu Temple on Cork St. might have to be deferred until construction on the Temple is completed.  Please see below for some study notes on these faith traditions.

Always a lively and welcoming group for any and all who are seeking to deepen their understanding and experience of God, the Spirit Seekers, while exploring Christianity, offers a place for open discussion of the works of many of today's leading theologians and writers.
